BH Snap-Lock Spreaders

The BH Series of Snap-Lock Spreaders has been designed by linemen with three main goals in mind:

Ease of Installation - Safety - Cost Reduction

Easy installation in all types of weather and under all lighting conditions.

1 Put Snap-Lock unit on wires.

2. Let go & it snap into place.

3. Tighten the bolts, locking the unit in place.

The "Safety First" design allows for ease of installation without any temptation for linesmen to remove safety gloves to handle small nuts and bolts. This means NO MORE DROPPED PARTS.

Cost effective and customer friendly. The Snap-Lock design reduces labor costs up to 80%. One movement sets it in place. The only other labor involved is the tightening of the two bolts. Compare this to any of the alternatives of the market and you'll become a true believer. In the St. Louis area, the Snap-Lock is installed next to competitors outdated or damaged units without service interruptions.

NEW! BH Snap-Lock Triplex Spreader

The BH301 Snap-Lock Triplex Spreader has taken the design and concept of the BH Series spreader and spacer and taken it to the next level.

A device to separate the secondary conductors of #6-2/0 triplex, duplex and parallel lay cable for the purpose of making mid-span service taps and to serve as the anchor point for service wires.

  • Reduces labor costs up to 80% due to the tool incorporated “Snap-Lock” design. Simply snap onto wires, rotate ring, and tighten bolt.

  • “Safety-First” design. Because the spreader design incorporates a handle and a wire separating tool; no more using screw drivers to pry apart wires, and no disassembly required.

  • Serves as the anchor point for the service wire termination.

  • Made of UV resistant nylon with stainless steel hardware.

  • Independently pull tested to over 1243 lbs. by St. Louis Testing Laboratories.
