Polycarbonates
thermoplastics have excellent high-impact strength over a wide temperature
range and combined defintion of being tough, transparent, heat and
flame resistant and dimensionally stable. These resins also have
excellent creep resistance and generally are unaffected by greases,
oils and acids.
Available
in general-purpose molding, & extrusion grades and in several special
grades that provide specific properties or processing characteristics.
These include flame retardant formulations, grades that meet FDA
regulations for parts used in food-contact and medical applications.
